Every new account starts with 30 days of Premium

The trial begins when the account is created and ends 30 days later. It does not renew, it costs nothing, and no payment method is needed to start it. When it ends the account simply continues on the free tier — you keep your logbook, you just lose the Premium features.

Prices are in South African rand and include VAT where applicable. The price charged is always the one Google Play shows you at the moment you subscribe.

Billing

How paying for Triply works.

Who takes the payment?

Google, not us. Premium is a Google Play subscription, bought through the Google account on your phone, under Google Play's own terms. Google is the merchant of record and we never see or store your card details.

How do I cancel?

In Google Play, at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. The app links you straight there. We cannot cancel a Play subscription on your behalf — only Google can.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for: Premium runs to the end of that period and only then drops to the free tier.

What happens to my trips when Premium ends?

Nothing happens to them. Your logbook is stored on your phone and it stays exactly as it is. The Premium features switch off, but no trip is deleted or locked, and you can still export a CSV or PDF, save a backup to a file, and restore from one.

Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?

No, and this catches people out. They are separate things and only Google can stop the billing. Cancel in Google Play first, then delete your account — otherwise Google keeps charging you for an account that no longer exists.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds run through Google Play's refund policy, so the request goes to Google. If Google declines and you think the circumstances are genuinely ours — a fault on our side that left you unable to use what you paid for — write to support@triply.africa and we will look at it. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

What if a payment fails?

Google may give you a grace period to fix your payment method, and Premium keeps working during it. If it is still unresolved after that, the subscription goes on hold and Premium stops until payment succeeds. It is fixed in Google Play, not in Triply.

Will the price go up?

If it ever changes, Google notifies you and asks you to accept the new price before it takes effect. If you do not accept, the subscription simply does not renew. You are never charged a new price without agreeing to it.

The full terms are in the Terms of Service.

Start on free. Decide later.

Every new account gets 30 days of Premium to see whether letting the car log the drives is worth it to you.
